Day 1~ Manchester: Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Arrived at a Manchester airport and met 'the crew'. Already sound with everyone. Flight to Newark was smooth; 7 hours, watching films and sleeping. Had to transfer baggage to the next plane but Mike's (ransomed id never met) bag was not there LOOOOL. Anyway, carry on to get flight #2. We settle in and then it's announced that San Jose, Costa Rica ha had a power cut so no flights are allowed inbound. Great 👍🏽. So we're told to get off and we faff about for a bit. Bout an hour later we're allowed back on. Then.... it's announced that there's a storm ⛈ out the window so we have to wait for that to clear but by the time it clears, the plane staff legally cannot work anymore hours, so once again off the plane. The airplane gave us a voucher to get food ($10) in which I ate a full pizza 🍕 to myself and sponged off Lois' food. Right, fucking hell, I'm sat here listening to 4 vegans chat shit with their fucked up laughs. Like I'm not exaggerating. I say hi and one laughs like a donkey, but it's after most things, awkwardly. Like the dread of finding food for is has already dawning upon me. Anyway, new emergency pilot 👨🏼‍✈️ arrives and 5 hours later we arrive. Alberto meets us at the airport and 15 mins later we arrive at Casa Colon Hostel. We're asked by Dave (True Adventure Guide) who wants to sort out the rooms and all the unsociable weirdos just sat there like WTF. So as always I had to sort the shit out. 3 of the girls are given a huge room to themselves. But the 2 female leaders (btw not teachers 👩‍🏫 ; a chaplaincy bible carrying woman and a librarian) are freaking out about sleeping in our room because it's a "grey area". Anyway with my fucking initiative and common knowledge I suggest the 3 girls come in our room (206) and the teachers gets a room to themselves. Sorted. 3am lights out. 😴

Day 2~ San Jose

8am get up. Everyone's getting a shower but lazy me just changed her top and freshens up her face and teeth. Still cute tho. 10:30am, we're downstairs altogether. I'm praised for taking charge, as I should be, and I once again work out the budget for the day and everyone's roles e.g SIM card purchase, breakfast purchase, bus arrangements. We walk around for 3 hours trying to find a place to eat, you know because we have the fortune of being with vegans. CBfuckingA. So anyway, 1:30pm BRUNCH. P.s. Whilst I'm writing this, me and Lois are acc creasing just laughing at this Jade's laugh. It's HEEERRGGGHHHH! Then we can't direct our eyes from Harry's bulge (if you get me), it's like looking into the sun: disturbing but tempting. Once again, me and Lois are dying at the thought of someone reading this. Like this journal 📓 will be getting lobbed. YEET! Anyway, so food done. Then we got the Sim Card purchased, got it cheaper may I add because your girls got a little charm innit 😉 So we roamed around, saw some weird street festival thing. Me and Lois bought journals (welcome) and now we're sat outside on the balcony in the hostel socialising before we go for food. Wishing myself luck. Just been told how everyone thought I was going to be a bitch princess 👸🏽. Standard. Just thinking to myself now, does not shaving come as a package with being vegan. Anywho, chatted, chilled and bed by 10pm.
